Provides natural pain relief throughout labour and delivery. Hand held device. Hire includes TENS pads, spare batteries and spare lead.

The birth stool can be used during labour and birth to provide secure and comfortable positioning. The Kaya birth stool can also be submerged in water.

Anchored by use of a door the birth sling provides comfortable support. Can be used on its own or used in conjunction with a birth stool or ball.

A birth doula is a non-medically trained emotional and physical support person for you and your partner prenatally, during birth, and postnatally.
No. A midwife is a medical professional, responsible for the medical status and care of Mum and baby. Midwives will focus on the clinical picture and will give medical advice complete medical assessments and can perform tests if required. A doula is non medical, focused on providing continuity and personalised care during labour, birth and into the postpartum. A doula will provide emotional and physical support to Mum and her partner and does not perform any medical tests.
Need one? No BUT you will absolutely benefit from having one. Studies have shown that continuous support from a Doula can improve outcomes for birth and beyond.
Nobody ever regrets having personalised support during their pregnancy birth and postpartum period.
Doulas are passionate about informed choice, education and positive empowering births.
I support births in Home, Hospital and Birth Centres. I do not attend free births.
Yes, I want my support to meet your needs. If there is something that you are wanting from doula support please talk with me about your needs.
My standard packages require a deposit, with the balance to be paid one week prior to me going on call. Balance can be either in a lump sum or small regular amounts.
I have completed several courses, and will continue to undertake more training. I also have my lived experiences of birthing my children and being a mother for over 26 years.
